Some of the LIVIC team took the opportunity to meet with our next door neighbor Walsh Construction to tour the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) project in Eastern Snyder County. This vital infrastructure project showcases innovative engineering and construction techniques, providing a unique opportunity to see designs brought to life. During the visit, the team explored multiple access points and reviewed the project's extensive stormwater management systems. They examined erosion and sediment control (E&S) measures, including temporary sediment basins, skimmers, and basin designs, all of which play a crucial role in managing environmental impacts. Observing bridge construction firsthand, they saw deck pouring operations, bridge spacers, and the skilled work of steel workers.
The visit highlighted the teamwork and precision required to execute large-scale projects like the CSVT. LIVIC Civil is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Walsh Construction and learn from such an impressive operation.
